
Atlantic Sapphire harvested 1,167 tonnes of salmon in Q2
Overall volume dropped but average weight and price per kilo were higher than previous quarter
Florida land-based fish farmer Atlantic Sapphire harvested a total volume of approximately 1,167 tonnes (head on gutted) of Atlantic salmon in the second quarter of 2025, it said in a trading update. That’s lower than the 1,319 tonnes HOG harvested in Q1.
Net biomass gain during Q2 was approximately 1,697 tonnes live weight (Q1 2025: 1,449 tonnes). Standing biomass at the end of Q2 was 3,235 tonnes (Q1: 2,997 tonnes).
Atlantic Sapphire said operational performance and the biological situation during Q2 were satisfactory.
Realised average harvest weight in the quarter was 3.1 kg HOG (Q1: 2.6kg). The realised sales price in the quarter was US $9.27 per kg HOG (Q1: $8.30 per kg).
