Harvest weight improved in Q1 for Atlantic Sapphire

Florida land-based salmon farmer Atlantic Sapphire harvested a total volume of 1,504 metric tonnes (head on gutted) in the first quarter of this year, up from 1,183 tonnes HOG in Q4 2025.

Net biomass gain during Q1 2026 was 1,859 tonnes live weight (RLW), also higher than the preceding quarter, when the gain was 1,683 tonnes. Standing biomass at the end of Q1 2026 was 3,420 tonnes RLW (Q4 2025: 3,437t).

Average harvest weight in the quarter was 3.2 kg HOG (Q4 2025: 2.9 kg). The sales price in the quarter was US $9.32 (NOK 88.5 / £6.95) per kilo HOG, up from $8.28 per kg in Q4 last year.
