Fish farmers placed on stock exchange 'penalty bench'
The Kingfish Company and Kaldvik have ended up on Euronext Growth's naughty step for failing to file annual reports on time
Euronext Oslo Børs announced today that both the Netherlands-based seriola producer Kingfish Company NV and Kaldvik AS, which farms salmon in Iceland's Eastern Fjords, have been placed on the marketplace's "penalty bench" after their annual reports for 2025 were not published by the deadline.
The companies have not fulfilled the requirement to publish the annual report within the deadline set in the regulations for companies listed on Euronext Growth.
The placement is effective immediately.
"Penalty bench" is a separate category on the marketplace for companies that do not meet some of their ongoing obligations. The companies are moved back to regular trading when the conditions underlying the placement are corrected.
Kaldvik announced on May 27 that the company needed more time to complete the audit work related to the annual accounts. The company also stated that the annual report is now expected to be published on June 12.
The Kingfish Company has stated in its financial calendar that June 4 will be the date for publishing its 2025 annual report.
