Nordic Aqua Partners turned up the volume in Q3
Nordic Aqua Partners (NOAP), which operates a recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) facility in Ningbo, China, harvested 1,838 tonnes (head on gutted) if Atlantic salmon in the third quarter of 2026, it said in an operational update yesterday.
Average harvest weight was 4.4 kg HOG, equivalent to 5.3 kg live weight (LW), which was the same as the preceding quarter when NOAP harvested 1,362 tonnes HOG. Superior share in Q3 was 95% (Q2: 96%).
Harvest for the first nine months of 2026 amounts to 3,971 tonnes HOG, with an average harvest weight of 4.4 kg HOG, equivalent to 5.3 kg live weight (LW), with a superior share of 95%.
Full capacity
Biomass production during Q3 was 2,233 tonnes, bringing the total biomass to 5,662 tonnes at the end of the quarter. This corresponds to full capacity for Stages 1 and 2 of the facility and an annual harvest capacity to 8,000 tonnes.
For the first nine months of 2026, biomass production amounts to 6,687 tonnes LW. Norwegian-owned NOAP said overall biological performance remains strong with good fish health, no significant maturation, and high survival rates.
Full-year harvest volume is expected to be in the range of 5,700-6,000
tonnes HOG.
NOAP’s full Q3 2026 report will be released on November 12.
